Directions of use. First Clean the surface thoroughly with detergent and mould remover Carbusonic MMCA4 using a scrubbing action, rinse and then allow it to dry completely. Next use masking tape to mask off the rear window, glass and body work.
Start the application of Carbusonic MB7533 at the centre section of the front of the top. Work from side to side, progressing towards the back, maintaining a "wet edge" as you work towards the rear. (The technique is similar to painting with water based paint). Immediately remove any drips on paint, glass or trim with a wet cloth
If the top is badly faded, apply a second coat after 24 hours drying time. Use heat gun or hairdryer to seal dye then allow the final coat of dry for 8 hours and then follow with two coats of waterproofing solution. Carbusonic WW12 Silicone weather proofing. (This Waterproofing Must Be Completely Dry Before Using In Wet Weather). DO NOT use on Vinyl, Acrylic or vinyl impregnated fabric tops. Test small patch for colour first can be diluted with small amount of water.
After application use a hot air gun or hairdryer to heat the fabric and seal in the dye, apply waterproofing spray supplied in the kit allow to dry before using

WHAT DOES THIS PRODUCT DO - Canvas Waterproofer - Specially formulated to seal and protect your canvas soft top this polymer based sealant will provide protection against moisture and other environmental damage. Used after Protex Canvas Cleaner or Canvas Dye this is the final stage in the Protex soft top restoration process.
COVERAGE & PREPARTION - Canvas Cleaner - It is recommended that approximately 500ml of product is sufficient to clean a top for a 2 seater car. The canvas soft top must be colourfast so test on an inconspicuous area first, to ensure fabric dye does not run. Do not apply the cleaner in direct sunlight as drying time will be to fast preventing the cleaner from working properly.
COVERAGE & PREPARATION - Canvas Restorer - It is recommended that approximately 500ml of product is sufficient to restore a top for a 2 seater car. It is best to apply the product in cool/overcast conditions so that drying time is not too fast and to avoid causing an uneven finish.
